Day 85 - Fast Day #5

I had a good fasting day. I gave in at 4pm and had a couple of walnuts, but had the rest of my calories at dinner.

I was a bit hungry this morning. I had a 4 day break. I think this may have contributed.

A good day none the less! I will weigh in tomorrow morning!

Day 82-84 - Non Fasting Days

I haven't had time to post the last few days because my daughter came home sick on Friday with a stomach ache and headache. Just when we thought she was getting better, she started vomiting on Sunday morning. Thankfully, that only lasted during the morning hours and she was back to herself by the afternoon and was off to school today.

I had 3 days straight at home with the kids, cooped up in the house. I had the nibbles now and then, but nothing too terrible. I had an average of just under 900 calories for my deficit this week. So I didn't do as well as the prior week. But if this diet says you can eat what you want without overeating, I should be ok!

Today is a fasting day for me. I was a bit hungry this morning, but I just ignored it and soldiered on! Tomorrow I will spend the day with my Mom on my cheat day!

Day 81 - It Was A Good Day

I had a great day today. Was nice and busy at work, had lunch with a good friend of mine and spent time playing a video game with the kids this evening. I had less then 2200 calories today which was great! I ended up with a big lunch so stuck with a light dinner so I wouldn't over eat.

Tomorrow is date night with hubby, so we will both enjoy dinner out and maybe a movie. My goal is to get a small popcorn or none at all if we do end up at the movies. I looooove popcorn, so wish me luck! LOL!

Trophies In The Battle Of Weight Loss!

We all know the battle to lose weight is a tough one. I would like to think that when you lose weight you win and you win big! So I have come to think as jean sizes as my trophies in the battle of weight loss! I started out at my heaviest in size 28 jeans! Today I got into my second pair of 14 jeans! You know the ones I was just talking about yesterday! So I am super excited!

My next trophy that I would like to obtain is Size 12 jeans! Like I said, I bought a pair this week and hope to be in them before I know it! I don't think I've every worn size 12 jeans as an adult, let alone size 14! I had to wear mens jeans in high school as they didn't carry larger sizes for women back then. At least as far as we knew! By time I did start wearing women's jeans I was in size 24 and up!

It feels good to be winning this battle! :)

Day 80 - My Fourth Fast Day!

I decided to fast today and get it done for the week as I have a lunch date with some friends tomorrow. Now I have 4 days off until I fast again. Today went well. I was able to have nothing until dinner time and stuck with my delicious favorite spinach omelet with cheese. I was a little hungrier, then I had been my other fasting days, after dinner tonight. But nothing a little water couldn't help. Now I am fine and the hunger has passed. I'm thinking it could be because I just had a fast day 2 days ago and not 3.

I know that some fasting days will be easier then others. I am still amazed at how easy this has been! Easier then I could have ever imagined! I think not nibbling on snacks and other things keeps the hunger away. I know that some foods can trigger hunger the more you eat it. I can now say from experience that, it is sooo true! I find not eating, easier, then worrying about what I'm going to eat throughout the day. I'm not saying I want to do it everyday by any means, I'm just saying it's a lot easier then I thought it would be and I am glad. Because I know I can stick with this!

I bought a pair of size 12 jeans yesterday at the Goodwill as my incentive jeans! LOL! I have gotten into one of my two pair of 14 jeans. I hope to be in the second pair of fourteens very soon and then onto the twelves we go! :)

Day 79 - I Love My Job, But I Enjoy My Days Off!

I had a very productive day. Met my brother in law so he could take my mother in law back home and we had a nice lunch at Applebee's. I had my favorite Chicken & Shrimp Tequila Tango! If you love avocado and southwest fare, this dish is a must try!! Love it! I also had a few boneless wings. I was pretty full the rest of the day after my big lunch, so I ended my day with a bowl of cereal. I managed to stay under 2500 calories which is my goal on my cheat day.

I love my job, but I love getting a break on my day off! I enjoyed the day with my son and husband as we ran errands and hung out in Burlington. It got up to 36 degrees today and the sun was out. Which made for a pleasant day.

I made sure to park as far away in the parking lot to get in some extra exercise. I will burn just above 2600 calories today. Now that my MIL has headed home and I have my living room back, I will try to do Zumba a couple of times this week to get in some extra exercise.

My MIL sleeps and hangs out in the living room most of the time she is with us, so I take a break from Zumba while she is visiting. So it will be nice to get back to doing it again!

Now We Are Seeing Some Progress AGAIN!

I weighed myself this morning and I was down just over another pound! Woohoo! I am now 214.7  pounds with a total loss of 13 pounds exactly since I started this journey in January! So this new diet plan is working and I find it so much easier to stick with!

At this rate, I will be under 200 pounds by the end of June! Just in time for summer to really kick in! That is my hope, my dream and my goal.

Now I am off to another busy day off. I've got to take my MIL to Burlington today, pick up some supplies for the store and pick crickets for our toads! I will enjoy my day knowing that my efforts are working well! :)

Day 78 - Another Succesful Fast Day!

Well I did it! I managed to have just one meal yesterday. I had a delicious spinach omelet and used 2 regular eggs and 3 egg whites. I did add another 1/2 ounce of cheese as my omelet was bigger. Can't help myself. ;)

I also enjoyed a half of a banana and 4 ounces of blackberries! I felt like it was my dessert! :D

It was no harder to have the one meal as it was snacking on 2 servings of carrots throughout the day! I am going to stick to this new plan now that I know I can do it! I have a lunch date with 2 really good friends on Thursday so I will probably fast on Wednesday or Friday. I am thinking probably Friday but we will see how I feel tomorrow!

Little Changes Make A Big Difference! My goals for the week!

Today I am on a fasting day. After reading some of the book, "The Fast Diet", I am going to make some minor changes. To get the most bang for my buck, including the best health benefits of fasting, I am going to try to stick to one meal on my fast days. For me that will be dinner. I made it to almost 3pm on Thursday before I had a snack, so I think I can do this. Having just one meal will make the fasting period about 24 hours and will be more beneficial to my body.

The second thing I am going to do is use egg whites for 2 of my 4 eggs in my spinach omelet tonight. I was planning on changing what I was eating, but the book says if you like a certain meal, you don't need to necessarily change it, because if you like it you will look forward to eating it and will stay on the plan. For now, I looooove the spinach and egg omelet and it keeps me full for the evening. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Well maybe a little. The egg whites will bring down the fat in my meal. Which is healthier for me! So far so good on day 3 of fasting!

Here are some of my goals for this week:
  • Try to bring my fat % down for the week to 35% or less.
  • Move more!
  • Keep my off day calories to 2000 calories or less per day.
  • Eat at McDonalds no more then 2 times this week.
  • My average calorie deficit per day to be at least 1000 calories.
I am finding that by making little changes in how I live my daily life, I can fit exercise in a few minutes here and a few minutes there. I have been making it a point to park in parking lots as far as I can to get some extra walking in. I find that I burn, by far, more calories in those days. I look for opportunities to use the stairs and to walk and before I know it, I've got in my moderate activity for the day.

I also have been sneaking in more fruits and veggies then ever before. I have enjoyed making my berry and spinach smoothies during my off days to make sure I am not forgetting to eat my fruits and veggies!

To meet my goals above everyday this week, it will take just a few small changes, but those small changes will make a big difference in my numbers next week and my overall health! ;)

Day 77 - End Of First Fast Week! End Of Week Report

I had another good off day today. I made a nice big family dinner of Lasagna & Garlic Bread with a low fat Pistachio Pudding Pie for dessert! I printed out my report today to review the last week. There are some adjustments I would like to make in my diet to make it a little healthier, but all in all, I think I did pretty well!

Here are my results for last week:

Week Ending March 23 (Average Per Day):
Calorie Burn: 2659
Calories Consumed: 1672
Calorie Balance: 987 Deficit
Physical Activity: 30 minutes
Number Of steps: 6752
Fat %: 41%

My fat percent was a little on the high end. I like it to be 35% or below. But I found last week to be a good experiment week and I enjoyed the foods I loved, just as the book suggests, without going crazy on calorie intake. I went to McDonalds, which is my big weakness, a few times. And I made some of my favorite meals over the weekend which included lasagna & enchiladas! In my next post, I will outline my goals for the week, as I would like to get my diet on a bit of a healthier path, even with the fasting!

Day 75 & 76 - My Off Days

I have been doing well with my off days (days not fasting). I have enjoyed eating normally and not having to restrict my calories. I do keep track so I stay between 2000-2200 calories a day. Yesterday I was on the run and had breakfast and McDonalds with my little Marcus. I had a McMuffin & A Fruit & Yogurt Parfait. For lunch, on the run again, I had a McChicken. Now normally I would have gotten to McMuffins and no Parfait for breakfast and for lunch I would have had 2 McChickens. I have noticed with this diet I am enjoying foods I like, but trying to make healthier choices or not eating as much of the foods that are not so good for me. Yes, I can enjoy a McChicken. But one is enough!

I think about it more. I think doing the fasting, I want to eat what I like on my off days but I also want to eat right, too! It just feels good and it feels right. For dinner I had steak and potatoes that I scarfed down before my tax appointment. All in all, I ended up with 2400 calories that day

I made up the difference today without a problem as I did tons of cleaning at home and will burn about 3000 calories today! I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Enjoyed a smoothie that had milk, yogurt, berries, strawberries and spinach in it for a snack. Again, being conscious of getting in those fruits and veggies. Had another McChicken for lunch, but only one and ended the night with a nice Mexican dinner I prepared for the family of enchiladas, lime rice and beans. Of course we had to end the day with a little dessert, so I made Ghirardelli Brownies! Yum! I ended up with 2200 calories.

One more day to go and I fast once again!

Day 74 - Second Day Of Fasting

Well, I had another great day of fasting today. I did very well. Wasn't hungry until lunch time and had my first serving of carrots then another at 4pm. I keep forgetting to bring my books home I ordered, the ones in my prior post. I really need to do that so I can get some more ideas of what I can nibble on during the day.

I had the same omelet as the other night and enjoyed it very much! My stomach growled a little more then last time. Maybe 2 times instead of 1. So really, not too bad.

I have really surprised myself. I am finding this diet a lot easier then I ever imagined it would be! I really do hope this diet works for me, because this is definitely something I can stick with.  I will weigh myself once a week if all continues to go well and the weight drops. So Tuesday will be the big moment to see how I do after weighing in this past Tuesday.

Was all 3 pounds I lost from the fast?? I don't know. I think some of it was from the past week, but even if a pound of that was from the fast, I would be happy! But now, only time will tell. So I will be anxious to weigh in next Tuesday and assess how this diet is effecting my body. I will have one more fast day before my next weigh in.

But before that I get to enjoy 3 days of normal eating! Woohoo!!

Day 73 - Finding Balance

I found it incredibly easy to balance out the last couple of days today. I am really determined to stick with the program with this new diet and when I ate 2500 calories yesterday, that threw me off a bit. But today I did very well and had just under 1500 calories! So my average for the last 2 days will be no more then 2000 calories a day. Just where I want to be.

I made something for dinner tonight I hadn't had in years! My MIL is visiting and asked me to find her Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast in the freezer section in the grocery store. She was in the mood for some. But I couldn't find it at our local grocery store so I looked it up online and decided to make it from scratch. I want to reiterate that this is NOT a healthy meal by any means. But enjoying those comfort foods we loved as kids is ok, once in awhile!

I had never made Creamed Chipped Beef and it came out really good. Just as I remember it. I don't think I've ever had it homemade before. LOL! I can't remember, don't tell my mom, but I think she bought it for us frozen! ;)

I used skim milk which made it a little less fattening. Ha Ha! The sodium content is high as well from the dried beef, but again, I don't see this as a problem as long as you don't eat it all the time or don't have a real sodium issue in your diet. It was yummy and I did enjoy my dinner! My seven year old enjoyed it, too. But my 4 year old, not so much. :P

Tomorrow...I fast!

Day 72 - Enjoyed My Cheat Day! ;)

I did fairly well yesterday. I ate 2500 calories total which is not bad for my cheat day. A bit higher then I planned but ok. Here is what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast: Fruit & Muffin
Snack: 2 Charleston Chews
Lunch: Diet Coke & 2 McChickens
Appetizer: BBQ Boneless Wings (3)
Dinner: Three Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta @ Applebee's

What really hiked up my calories was the 3 chicken wings. I wasn't planning on those, but hubby ordered them and I couldn't resist. Cheat day and all. ;)

I want to stay around 2000-2200 on my non fasting days. So I will make up that difference on two other days this week.

Tomorrow I fast again. In some ways I am looking forward to it as it makes me feel good that I am able to achieve doing it! I never thought it would be something I could do. But 2 days a week works for me!

Down Another Pound!! Woohoo!!

I was actually down over 3lbs this morning when I weighed in! I'm doin' the happy dance. Can you picture it now! LOL! So this is how my weight has gone over the last month so you can see why my tittle says I am down a pound.

Weigh in the day I left on vacation: 216.9 (My lowest weight since starting this in January)
Weigh in after vacation: 220
Weigh in another week later: 218.5
Weigh in today: 215.8!

So I have now finally dropped that weight from vacation and have now dropped below my lowest weight since I started this in January. Finally I am moving forward and going down some more! Yay!!

I also did a waist measurement today which was 48". I did the waist because with this 2 day fast diet you don't always see the number on the scale drop but you are supposed to see great results with your waist line. So I figured it would not hurt to have 2 ways of measuring my success!

I did very well this morning and didn't feel hungry at all. I don't tend to be very hungry in the early morning hours of the day, so I am glad my fasting did not change that. I had a WBON meeting this morning and had a blueberry muffin and fruit. Again, a nice normal breakfast. I will stop at McD's for my cheat day lunch today as I am stuck at the store on my day off getting caught up on paperwork for tax time! I will have a reasonable lunch and will still track my calories to make sure I don't over eat.

I am feeling really good about this new diet plan. I hope my fasting days continue to go well. I will keep you posted!

Day 71 - First Day Of Fasting Went Great!!

My first day of fasting couldn't have gone better! I did very well and got through the day feeling like "I could do this!" I had my moments of hunger but turned to a nice glass of water to get me through. I was very strategic about my candy making and made nothing today that needed to be taste tested. I did all the taste testing yesterday and did a lot of finishing work to the chocolates I started yesterday! :)

I took my fasting very seriously! I got chocolate on my fingers after opening some chocolate gold coins the leprechauns brought the kids and washed it off. I didn't even lick my fingers! LOL! I think it was easier to do the fasting knowing that I could eat normally tomorrow. I think that is the attractiveness of this diet. I will not have to fast again until Thursday!

This is what I ate today:

10am - 1 serving of carrots
1:30pm - 1 serving of carrots
6:00pm - 4 egg omelet with 1 ounce of cheese and 80 grams of spinach. Cooked in 1 tbsp. of country crock.
Lots of ice cold water all day long!

A Total Of 512 Calories!

One thing I have not done is weigh myself or measure myself. I may do that tomorrow so I can get a number at my starting point. I will give you those numbers tomorrow!

Feelin' Like A Bunny Rabbit At The Moment!

If you've read my prior post you will know that I am starting a 2 day fasting diet today. Well it's already 2:24pm and I feel really good. I little hungry, but not too bad. Stomach only growled once earlier today! LOL!

I do feel like a bunny rabbit today! I didn't plan too well for my first day of fasting, but I was determined to start. Since I can only have protein and plants, the only thing that I have at work in the plant department is carrots! So I've had 2 servings of carrots today and that actually has been helping with the hunger, believe or not!

Blanca in bunny form! ;)
I will probably have a small amount of walnuts for an afternoon snack. I am, oh so, looking forward to my omelet tonight!! More later!

Starting The Fast Diet Today! AKA The 5:2 Diet

Today I am starting a fasting diet. Yes! A fasting diet! Hard to believe, but I'm going to give it a whirl! I watched a PBS show a couple of months ago called Eat, Fast & Live Longer. Here is the website for the diet: The Fast Diet The doctor and journalist who did the PBS show has written a book and started this website because after the show aired, so many people had an interest in the diet.

Here is a pic and a link to the books on Amazon.

Amazon Book Link - The Fast Diet

Amazon Book Link - The Fast Diet Cookbook

The basics of the Fast Diet is simple. 5 days you eat normally, no calorie restriction and 2 days you fast by eating a small amount of calories. The 2 days do not need to be consecutive so I am choosing Monday & Thursday to fast. For women, we are allowed about 500 calories a day and for men about 600. You are basically eating 25% of your normal calories per day. The key to this diet is sticking with the 2 P's on your fasting days. Plants and protein. I have had carrots for breakfast and will continue with veggies most of the day and save the brunt of my calories for dinner which will consist of a veggie omelet as I tend to be hungrier in the late afternoon and evening.

So far so good! I am still reading up on the diet but feel I am having a great start and it hasn't been to bad so far. I will keep you posted on how my progress goes!  This diet is supposed to be very healthy and puts your body in repair mode during fasting days. Once I get the book and can articulate better on exactly how this diet effects the body, I will share! :)

Last 2 Weeks - Weekly Reports

So I averaged about a 500 calorie deficit for the last two weeks. Currently I can no longer link my reports to my blog. But until I figure that out, here is a summary of the past two weeks.
Week Ending March 9 (Average Per Day):
Calorie Burn: 2629
Calories Consumbed: 2044
Calorie Balance: 585 Deficit
Physical Activity: 32 minutes
Number Of steps: 7093

Week Ending March 16 (Average Per Day):
Calorie Burn: 2744
Calories Consumbed: 2228
Calorie Balance: 516 Deficit
Physical Activity: 38 minutes
Number Of steps: 6650

I haven't had the best couple of weeks with my weight loss. I feel like I need to try something different to keep up the motivation. Changing things up never hurts. I am trying something new starting today. Read my latest post to find out what!

Day 67 Making Progress

Today was a much better day! I had about 2000 calories and will burn about 2700 calories for a 700 calorie deficit. Certainly better then I had been doing! I hope to get my calories down a bit. My goal for the next couple of days is to replace some of my meals with a healthy fruit and veggie smoothie and have a decent dinner.

The week is not over and I am sure I can salvage it if I put my mind to it!

Day 65 & 66 The Saga Continues...

Yesterday was my mother in laws birthday. So we went out to dinner and had cake. I had just over 2200 calories, which is not too bad considering.

But today, having left over cake around was too much! I had cake for breakfast! :P I didn't do too bad all day, but this winter weather has given me the munchies so I indulged with some popcorn with butter! I had just over 2200 calories again today! [rolling eyes]

I read an article about the Wheat Belly diet and was actually going to consider trying it. So I went on Amazon and ordered the book and cookbook. Well I did some further research online and you have to give up a LOT of things, not just wheat. I don't know why they don't call it the low carb diet. So I cancelled the book order and decided it wasn't for me. I love Mexican food and can't see giving up my corn tortillas and rice! So I may try my own version giving up mostly wheat and trying to eat very little processed foods. The processed food part should be easy as I don't do much of that anymore anyway. So we will see how it goes. I will also try to add more smoothies in my diet this week to get my fruits and veggies. After all, I have my Ninja!!

It is apparent to me that I am losing my motivation at the moment. But it doesn't have to continue. SO! With that said, I have decided I will not weigh myself again until April 1st. That gives me over 2 weeks to try to get some more weight off, including losing the rest of my weight I gained from my trip. I have let my trip get me back into bad habits. It's time to step up to the plate and get things moving again! I WILL do better tomorrow! With some planning ahead I can get more weight off before my next weigh it. No more playing around. I've had well over a week of bad days, I think it's about time I start having some good ones, don't you??

Day 63 & 64 Take A Deep Breath

I've decided to take A deep breath, put the past week behind me and move forward!

Yesterday, I didn't do too bad. I had about a 600 calorie deficit. Today was my fresh start and I should have about a 1300 calorie deficit, which is great. I'm going to try my best all week long!

I will get my weekly report posted tomorrow.

Day 62 - Big Improvement!

I did much better yesterday. I had just 1300 calories and burned almost 3000 calories yesterday with a deficit just under 1600.

I feel like I had a much better day and I'm feeling positive today and hoping for another busy day of moving to burn 3000 calories again. Onward I shall go!

Day 61 - Make It A Bad Week!

I just have not been able to focus this week. So I allowed my self a day to REALLY indulge yesterday! To the tune of 3400 calories!

I enjoyed a nice dinner of fajitas last night as we went out to eat. It was nice to relax after a stressful week! Some times I feel like I just need to give in. The more I fight it the more I have bad days. After yesterday, I felt ready for a fresh start today!

I am doing awesome so far today and hope to still have a good deficit average for the week and make up for some of my pitfalls! Stay tuned....

Day 60 - Another Rough Day

My day didn't get any better yesterday. I got home, let my birds out and one of them wandered into the living room and was trying to nibble on my mother in laws toes. Well to get her to go away, my mother in law lowered her hand down and my bird bit her. I had to take her to the ER to get a couple of stitches. So that didn't finish my day off well as I felt really bad about it.

I was able to focus much better on work today, but had the nibbles again. I figure I will have about a 500 calorie deficit, which is better then yesterday! I think the stress of catching up on making chocolate, getting paperwork done for tax time and having two family members go to the ER in one week has taken it's toll and I am turning to food for comfort. If I can just get a grip, I know I can do better the next few days and salvage the week!

Those Darn McChickens!!

My favorite thing I would eat at McDonalds all the time was McChickens! I have been craving them for 2 days. I don't know why, but I have. Well, I had nothing at work for lunch today, as the last couple of days have been a little hectic at home and I hadn't had time to plan my lunches for the week. So I gave in and bought 2 McChickens and a Diet Coke for lunch. My old usual! I had Diet Coke yesterday, too! *Rolling Eyes*

I hope to cut the diet coke down to at least once a week and allow myself diet coke on my cheat day only. I've been really good to only have it on vacations. So I don't want to get back into bad habits.

Today has been a funny day. I haven't been able to focus on much all day and still have the nibbles like yesterday. I will try to salvage my day and eat healthy tonight.

The most important thing I can do for myself at this point is plan the rest of my week out for lunches and dinner so I don't eat like this. It's the lack of planning, and not having healthy things on hand to eat, that cause me to eat unhealthy.

Ok, my confession is over and now I feel better. I will move on tomorrow and keep plugging at this. I certainly know, losing weight is not easy! If at first you don't succeed, try try again!

Day 57 & 58 So Much To Do, So Little Time!

Monday was a fairly good day. I had almost a 900 calorie deficit. I had the nibbles that day and felt like I did well considering.

Yesterday was a crazy day! I left the house about 9am with my little Marcus and we did a ton of shopping! First off, I stopped to vote. Then headed to Burlington to run a bunch of errands. Went to Costco, Walmart, Home Depot, AC Moore and PetsMart to name a few!

Picked up chocolate for the shop at two different locations and then picked up my MIL for a visit this week. So I got home at 8:30pm! My husband Brad fell while skiing with my daughter and her school yesterday and pulled some major muscles and is very soar. He needs to rest and can't lift more then 15 pounds. So I had to unload the van on my own last night. I was done unloading and putting things away about 9:45pm! So I burned some major calories yesterday! I believe it was about 3200!

I'm hoping for a quieter day today. ;)

Weighed In Again Today & Week 8 Report!

So I decided to weigh in this morning to see how I did this past week after vacation. As you may have already read, I weighed in on Tuesday and was up 3 lbs. Not too bad! I know if I had weighed in on Sunday, the day after I came back, it would have showed an even bigger gain! Well the good news is, I have lost 1/2 that 3 pounds! So I am confident the rest will come off this week and I can then get back to losing even more weight and getting closer to my first goal of being under 200 lbs.

Below is a link to my report for last week. All in all, I am pleased with it. My average deficit was 1350 calories per day. Not 1500 calories, but the best I've done yet! My fat percent was 28%, which is excellent as my goal is to be under 30%.

Week 8 Bodymedia Summary Report

I am hopeful I will have yet another good week and continue to drop, drop, drop! :)

Day 56 - A Great Evening With Friends

We had some really good friends over for dinner tonight. They are more like family to us. Brad's (my husband) best friend and his family went ice fishing with Brad and the kids today. Then came over for dinner afterwards.

I had no time for Zumba today, but estimate I will burn about 2800 calories today. Between making lots of chocolate and cooking for 9 people tonight, I kept pretty active! I ate just under 1200 calories today. I'm happy with that!

Day 55 - What Have I Done Today To Feel Proud!

I ate better and moved! I ate much better yesterday. On the light side to make up for my bad day the day before. I am determined to drop the rest of my vacation gain quickly so I can get back to dropping closer to 200 lbs!

I had about a 1900 calories deficit yesterday. I had a lot of laundry and housework to do yesterday, so that helped get me movin'! I am hoping to finish the week off with a 1300-1400 calorie deficit average. I was hoping for a 1500 calorie deficit average, but I pulled a muscle in my shoulder while on vacation. And doing Zumba has really been irritating it. So if I do Zumba everyday, it really bothers me. So I am trying to find other exercise's to do this week to hit my calorie goal. So I don't always make the 3000 calorie burn every day.

Next week I will start to do Zumba 3 times a week. That should be a lot easier on my shoulder for right now.

Today is going pretty well, too! I am hoping to end the week on a very positive note! :)
