Days 151-170 Long Time No Blog

 Long time no blog! I'm sorry I've been MIA! Been busy! I weighed in on April 17th at 241.4. That was up 2.6 pounds! 


I was somewhat disappointed that I still gained even after the 10 days "on" but I know part of that was I ate a bunch of candy during those 5 days off and I didn't always stick to my calorie goal during my 10 days. We did some heavy work with the remodeling and I did allow myself some extra calories because I was burning a lot of calories!

I have since gone on vacation and changed my plan of action. I was gone from April 17th until April 25th as I was half on vacation and half at my Scrapbook Retreat. I decided to change my tactic and try not to eat more then I burned each day rather then allowing myself an off day every other day. I did pretty well with it for my first try. Saturday April 17 was a free day, no tracking. Burned 2625 calories. After that I decided to change my plan. Thinking that watching what I ate everyday and keeping it consistent may be a better plan.  Here are my numbers:

April 18-25

Daily Average Calories Burned 2629

Daily Average Calories Consumed 2841

That is an average of 211 calories over what I burned. Again not too bad for my first try. I will weigh in next Tuesday May 4th. I am hopeful I will do well and at least not have a gain, even better if I can be back in the 230's! 

I will try to check in more often so I have a better record of how I am doing!

New Goals!

I have a friend who is going to start losing weight with me. I am helping her get started but it's also a great way to keep me motivated as well! 

I promised her I would take us on an overnight girls night out if we both meet our goals! So here it is, my goal is to be at 219.9 by October 1st! It's not a huge goal but a reasonable one! I want to go on this trip and so does she, so we want to make sure our goals are attainable! If I do more, that would be awesome! I would really like to see myself at 209.9! Another great goal! So I just need to stay focused! 

Besides April school break I am pretty open the next couple of months to focus on eating well and losing weight! I won't begin my 5 days on and 2 days off per week until the kids are officially out of school! If I can get into the 220's by then, I would be pretty happy! I've got about 9 pounds to go! Doesn't sound like a lot, but that can take some time! I am going to try to make better efforts not to go crazy on my off days while on school break. I just got to keep selling this idea to myself and remember I will be better off in the long run! Right! Now to just buy into the plan and say.....



Day 142-150 A Much Needed Break

First of all, I can't believe I've been following this plan for 150 days as of today! And with 33.4 pounds lost, I am pretty happy! 

It was a rough week last week. I had my off day on Monday then struggled Tuesday-Thursday. My calories averaged for those 3 days was 1600 per day! I just seemed to be craving and wanting everything. I decided on Friday to just give myself a few days break from this plan. I've been doing it faithfully at this point for 144 days! With some ups and downs but no real long break! So I gave myself permission. I was off the plan from Friday until yesterday. 

Now I am restarting with a fresh new outlook! I will be "on" for 10 days this go around and then I start a mini vacation with the kids and Brad. It's a longer period, but considering my 5 day hiatus, I think it's a good plan. 

I haven't weighed in since last Monday and will not until my next off day which is Saturday April 17th! Here's hoping for either a maintain or a small loss!
