It's Been A Rough Week!

I had a very nice Easter with my family and I worked really hard before Easter so I can enjoy my day off with the kids. Well I ended up gaining a pound this week anyway! I know I've been doing really well and after reviewing my calorie deficit since my last weigh in last Friday, it kind of makes sense as my deficit was minimal. So now I'm not feeling so bad and know I just need to work harder now that the holiday is over! At least I know why, instead of working hard and discovering I have no good results. I have been eating more this week so my goal for the weekend is to get the calorie deficit up and get some more weight off. Hopefully by Tuesday that pound will be back down.

I've had a rough week because of my gain and I've had allergy problems. Plus, I had to take my mom to the ER, she is fine, but it is always scary when I have to take her in. I'm hoping my week will get better from here! Wish me luck!

I've Got Bunnies Coming Out Of My Ears! :P

This week has been EXTREMELY busy! Today should be our busiest day before Easter so I am at work early this morning making more bunnies! I almost sold out yesterday but kept putting more out as fast as I could working on bunnies all day. It's a slow process, many of my molds are singles. I only have a few that I have 2 or more of. I will be investing in more molds for next year!! Plus, I need to give them time to set in the fridge so I can remove them from the mold without causing damage. I hope to crank out at least 20 to 25 bunnies this morning before I start getting in, the day before, Easter rush and continue making them throughout the day the best I can! I have about 17 out right now. So if I can get another 20 made this morning, that will be a good number for this morning!

On top of the busy week I ended up with a head cold that made me feel pretty awful Wednesday evening into Thursday. But after a couple of days I began to feel much better and had my energy back yesterday. With that said, I am having a great week with my eating and fasting. I was so busy Thursday that I didn't have much time to think about food! LOL! I weighed in yesterday morning and I am down another .6 pounds and now weighing in at 207.7 lbs! My lowest weight since I started my original journey January of 2012 has been 207. I hit that number spring of last year. So it feels good to be down again and I am looking forward to surpassing that number!!

I am working hard at keeping my calories in check this week so I can enjoy Easter dinner and all the treats that come along with it. My hope is to do well enough to have a drop on Tuesday morning when I weigh in. I think being so busy will certainly help me not over eat!

It's Been A Busy Few Weeks!

It's been a very busy few weeks as I have been working on getting the store geared up for the next few days as people shop for Easter! The next few days will be the busiest of the Easter season! I haven't been posting as often because I've just been so busy. I have to say, I feel pretty good today. I was feeling a little stressed the last couple of days, but as I get my special orders done and I am now almost caught up and have a full case of goodies for this week, I can sit back and take a big sigh of relief! I'm almost done. The pay off is a busy store and a wonderful day to spend with my family at the end of the week. Life is good!

I am going to try to eat well all week on my off days as I have Easter on Sunday and want to make sure I still have some type of drop on Tuesday. So I am keeping my calories in check the next few days in hopes that Easter will not sabotage my progress! Wish me luck!

Wow - Down Another Pound Today!

I had some pretty good off days this week. Kept within a reasonable amount of calories. I weighed in this morning as was down another 1.1 pounds!! As you may already know, I am very excited about that. This is the first time in my history of losing weight that I have been shocked when stepping on the scale in a good way! LOL!

I have lost a total of 3.3 pounds this week and am down to 208.4!! I am so close to 200lbs I can taste it!

I did have a rough fasting day yesterday. It was my first really difficult day. I think I was stressed out and not in a very good mood to start with this busy holiday upon me and working on chocolate non stop to meet the demand of the season. I wanted to eat anything and everything in the store. But I just ate a couple of nuts here and there and drank plenty of water to get through my day. And it worked and here I am with another pound down!

O-M-G!! I Can't Beleive This!

So I have started weighing myself twice a week. The day after each of my two fast days. Just so I can see how my progress is going and it's a super motivator!! Well I hopped on the scale this morning and was down 2.2 more pounds!




I mean WOW!!  I was not expecting that at all. I am now under 210lbs!! 209.4 to be exact! I am smiling from ear to ear!

Day 93-95 Keeping On Track

I had a great day off on Tuesday as I went out once again with my Mom for the day so I could shop for Easter for the kids. I will be working next Tuesday and working later hours for the upcoming Easter rush next week! So there will be no time for shopping. I even got our ham for Sunday dinner already! Yum!

I did really well Wednesday as well. I've been working on keeping my calories at a reasonable level during my off days for better weight loss results. It worked well last week and I am hoping it will work well again this week.

My fasting day yesterday was a bit challenging. I find when I am on my feet more I tend to be hungry more often. But I fought off the hunger and had a successful day. It was my first time having to eat out on a fast day. Brad and I had an apt with our tax man last night, so we took the kids to McDonalds and I had a salad for my fast day meal. I was surprised how well it filled me up! I did snack on a few pistachios around 3:30pm yesterday to ease the hunger.

The Pounds, They Be Droppin'!

I weighed myself this morning and was down 1.8 pounds! I was so excited!! Yay! I am now 211.6 pounds. I had a better week with a little bit better deficits on my off days. I think the extra work has really paid off! I am just so happy with the results of this 5:2 diet thus far!

My average deficit for last week was 1132. I will try to keep it up this week and hope for a minimum of one pound a week going forward, but always hope for a little more! ;)

I would love to be under 210 before Easter!

Day 90-92 A Very Busy Weekend!

My poor son got the terrible stomach bug my daughter had last weekend and he is still not a 100%. It was important for me to come into work Friday-Sunday so I can get chocolate bunnies made. I was there by myself most of the weekend. Thankfully my hubby was kind enough to forward his phone to his cell phone so I didn't have to deal with phone calls for Uhaul and Storage.

We had a very busy weekend at the shop and I made bunnies in between customers. So I am getting there with bunny making. About 60 more to go! With being busy, I burned lots of calories! So I am hoping that work alone will be a great source of exercise for me in the next 2 weeks as I continue to crank out the bunnies and the shop gets busy for the upcoming Easter rush!

I had a good fasting day yesterday. I little challenging at times, but I made it! See my next post for my morning weigh in results!

Day 88 & 89 - A Time To Fast, A Time To Eat & Another Weigh In

I had a great fasting day yesterday along with a VERY busy day! I have been making lots of chocolate bunnies at work and only have a fraction of what I need done. But this is good, because making chocolate burns more calories then sitting in front of a computer all day. Come the Saturday before Easter I guarantee I will be sick of making bunnies, cute as they may be! LOL!

I had a good off day today. I ate fairly well. I am trying to be a little more conscious of what I am eating on my off days so I can drop a little more then a pound every week. I am just anxious to hit that 200 pound mark!

I am down another half pound, 0.7 pounds to be exact and now weigh 213.4 with a total loss of 14.3 pounds since I started this blog this past Janaury! That feels awesome!! I love how well this diet is working and how easy it has been for me to stick with it. My first goal of 207 pounds is just around the corner. Since I started my weight loss journey in January 2012, I got down to 207 in early 2013. That was my lowest point, then I gained some weight back. So to get to that point will be exciting. Then it is just a short journey to 200lbs! Woohoo! I am so excited to hit that milestone!

Day 87 - Having Better Off Days

I did much better today on my off day. I ate about 1800 calories and I should burn about 3000 calories after running a bunch of errands this afternoon!

I had my left over sandwich and mashed potatoes for lunch! It's nice when you go out to eat and the meal last a second day! :)

I took Marcus with me to Rutland this afternoon to run a bunch of errands for the shop. We enjoyed a nice afternoon, just the two of us. We ended our evening having dinner together at Wendy's, by his request. I enjoyed a yummy Chicken BBQ Ranch Salad.

Tomorrow I fast!

Day 86 - I'm A Loser!!

Well I got on the scale this morning and I lost another .6 pounds!.My total weight loss is 13.6 pounds! Even though I didn't hit a pound I was glad to see a drop! That is the most important thing to me. I am determined to have a better week then last and drop even more next Tuesday.

I had a very nice day out with my mom today. We went to lunch at Applebee's and I enjoyed a steak, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and a house salad with light dressing. I was so full, I brought my mashed potatoes home for lunch tomorrow!

I went to Home Depot to plan for my dream kitchen today. It was a fun trip to browse, gather information and hang out with mom! It will be a year or two before it can be a reality, but I am trying to come up with a plan and budget so we know what it will cost. I am cooking a lot more at home and I'm enjoying it immensely! So I am enjoying the thought of having a new kitchen one day and I am hopeful it will be in the near future!

I met Brad and the kids in Middlebury and we took a nice walk in Middlebury after we had dinner at Mister Ups. I enjoyed a club sandwich with a baked potato. I was only able to finish half the sandwich, which I will have tomorrow with my mashed potatoes for lunch!

I am starting to see the effects the fasting is having on my eating habits. I seem to get fuller much quicker then I used to! This is great. I had two meals out today and couldn't finish either of them today. The last 2 prior weeks I had 2500 calories on my Tuesday cheat day. My goal was to be under 2000 calories today. I had 2012! A big improvement from my past cheat days! ;)

And now I have a yummy lunch lined up for tomorrow! Yay! I see 199 pounds in my very near future! ;)
