Keto Beef & Mushroom Chili

I had an amazing chili for dinner tonight! Substituted beans with onions and mushrooms. This is a quick and easy chili! I use the McCormick Original Chili seasoning pack. The original seasoning pack has 5 carbs per serving. You could easily substitute your own seasoning if you like. I use the packet for a quick and easy weeknight chili to make for the family. 

The recipe makes a double batch. Just cut it in half if you don't want the larger 12 cup serving size. 


Ingredients ~ 

    2 Packets McCormick Original Chili Seasoning

    3 Pounds Ground Beef

    24 Ounces Button Mushrooms Diced 

    1 Medium Onion Diced 

    2 Tablespoons Butter

    2 14.5 Ounce Cans Of Diced Tomatoes

    1/2 Cup Water

Optional Ingredients

    Sour Cream

    Cheese


Directions ~ 

In a large pot brown the ground beef. Melt butter separately in a frying pan. Sautee mushrooms and onions in the butter until mushrooms are soft and onions are translucent. Once the mushrooms and onions are cooked well, add to the browned beef  in the pot. Next, add seasoning, tomatoes and water to the beef. Bring to a boil then let simmer for 10 minutes covered. Garnish with sour cream and cheese if desired. 

Makes 12 1 cup servings.
