Starting Weight

Good Morning! I weighed in at 208.2 this morning. I am not too concerned about that number. I was in the 190's just a little over a week ago. So about 10 of those pounds I gained in the last week or so. If I stick to my plan I should drop at least the first few pounds pretty quickly. My main focus is to make sure I am eating right and that includes not over eating and cutting my carbs to at least under 50 for the first few days than under 20 once I get a few days under my belt and it begins to get easier. The first couple of weeks are the hardest. I have to fight the cravings and be sure not to go over my daily limit of carbs.  

I'm not going to focus on exercise for the first couple of weeks. I would rather put all my focus on eating right for the time being and than start an exercise plan once I feel I've got a good groove going with my eating habits.


I have a doctor appointment on May 23rd so I really would like to get into the 160's by then. That gives me about 3.5 months to do that. I will know for sure if I can pull that off once I know where my weight is after the initial quick drop. If I drop 10 pounds in the next week, than I think I could manage the remaining weight to get into the 160's! Right now I am about 39 pounds away from that goal. But if I drop a bit in the next week or two, I would only have about 30 pounds to do in a 3 month period which is certainly doable. We shal see! All I can do is try my best!
