Just A Quick Check In

 I didn't get a chance to check in yesterday but wanted today so I don't start a trend of not posting again. I was at 201 yesterday, so no change. Than 201.6 this morning. Slightly up, but I am not letting that play with my head. 

I have been eating great, so I know it's not that. I just need to give my body a few days to adjust since I have lost over 8 pounds in 5 days! I think my body fights going into the next set of digits! LOL. Just doesn't want to make it easy to get back into the 190's. But I will get there!

Still Doing Great 5 Days In


 Got up to another drop. I'm down to 201 as of this morning! I am super happy with that! Hopeing to be out of the 200's real soon!!! I've had a busy day and haven't had a chance to post until tonight. I had a good day with my eating, so I am hoping for another drop in the morning. Fingers crossed!

Down Again After Day 4 & Getting Acquainted With My Favorite Keto Recipes Again!

Had a really good day yesterday. Dropped down another .8 pounds this morning! I will take it! Now I just need to lose 2.3 pounds to get back into the 190's! I am feeling good about my changes! It's been a little easier this time so hopefully that is a good sign that my mindset is where it needs to be.

I am getting back acquainted with some of my favorite Keto recipes! I've had some ice cream I made awhile ago and I've been digging those out and they have held up well! I now know I can make them way ahead and freezer burn is not a huge issue. I think they have been in the freezer for over 6 months! We pretty much ate most of what is in there so I will be making more soon! 

I also had a favorite of one of my dishes. Chaffles & eggs this morning! They were so good I may have them for lunch, too! I forgot how good chaffles are! I think I need to just get back to my old Keto habits to remind myself I love a lot of what I make on Keto! I just need to get away from those carbs which I clearly think is putting me in a brain fog as all I do is crave the carbs once I start too much into them!

Here are my morning chaffle & eggs! I add a tsp of maple syrup on my 2 eggs & chaffles and it's just enough to give me that nice little sweet flavor without going crazy on the carbs! I do recommend using real maple syrup, not because I live in VT LOL, as it is thinner than the fake stuff and spreads a whole lot better so you need a lot less and still get tons of flavor!

Day 3 - Still Doing Well!

I am down to 203 this morning! Was pleasantly surprised as my carbs were just under 100 yesterday! But I did a great job keeping my calories in check. I am hoping to continue this trend and be in the 190's in no time!! On to day 4!

Still Moving In The Right Direction

Yesterday I did well for being my son's last day on school break. I was careful all day and ate pretty well. I am down to 204.6 which is a total of 5 pounds since my start 2 days ago. I am going to keep working on getting my carbs lower and lower with each day and keep my calories in check. 

Hopefully I can see a few more drops before the weight loss slows down!

Great First Day

 I did well yesterday and have already dropped 3.6 pounds! But I know as well as anyone that I will dropped a few pounds quickly! Hopefully a few more will drop off quickly to get me jump started. Of course, this is only day 2. I really need to stay on track for the next couple of weeks to get in the right mindset and getting my body adjusting to this change. If I make it past my first week, that will be a good sign!

My first goal is to get back into the 190's and actually stay there!! That has been my issue for awhile. I've gotten too comfortable up here in the 200's. The same thing happened in my 180's & the 190's and now here I am. Ultimate goal: Get to the 160's and once I hit the 170's again, get back down and stay down. The 170's will be my high range and the 160's my low. I have had trouble getting to the 160's but I hope to finally get there once and for all!

The Struggle Is Real!

 Well, I haven't done great. We went on a trip to an RV show on February 15th and I just ended up enjoying the trip and not doing as well as I had hoped with my eating. Than when I got back I had difficulty getting back on track as my son started his winter school break and we've been on a staycation at home doing movie marathons. So again, I decided to just enjoy. I kept my weight steady for awhile but popped up in weight the last few days. So here I am at 209.6 this morning. 

Not giving up. I'll never give up! My pain levels in the morning have been pretty high lately so I am hoping that lowering my carbs will help and I can really start focusing at this point! I have nothing going on for awhile. No breaks, vacations or holidays. So I'm hoping this will give me the time to get back on track with out any major distractions!

I know in my heart of hearts that I REALLY need to get back on track and start losing this weight. I have a doctor appointment on May 23rd and would really like to be back in the 170's by than. That does not give me much time, so I really need to start getting serious at this point. I know once I can get past the first couple of weeks I will do fne. I just need to get there!

I will do my best!
